Olive Leaf

Olive leaf was first used medicinally in Ancient Egypt and was a symbol of heavenly power. 

It was also used to mummify pharaohs. 

The benefits of olive leaf extract vary from promoting improved energy and healthy blood pressure, to supporting the cardiovascular system and the immune system. Modern health professionals first started using Olive Leaf extract in 1995 when it first became accessible and although a long-term perception is not yet possible, preliminary results are very encouraging. It is emerging as a very capable and unique herb with multiple applications.

The dry leave is widely used in traditional remedies in European and Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, Israel, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Olive leaf has shown its ability to fight all forms of attacking viruses. Olive leaf has anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It has 400 % more antioxidants than Vitamin C and double the antioxidants of green tea.

Tooth brushing stick made from an olive twig?

A miswak , also known as siwak, is not something that most people are use to as it is commonly used in Middle Eastern countries. Miswak is a twig of the olive tree that is used to clean teeth. Miswak is used in much the same manner as a tooth brush, but one doesn’t apply toothpaste to it.

Studies have shown this to be the advanced way in brushing, and mostly for the prevention of gum diseases.

This is being considered as an unconventional medicine for the healing of gums and to strengthen teeth enamel.
When you first get your miswak, you should cut back one centimeter from the top and remove the outer bark.

After the bark is peeled back, you can take the stick and start scrubbing your teeth gently. Start at the top of the gum moving down on the teeth.

Do this with all your teeth and although it is an unusual way, try to do it two times a day.
